Being a wedding photographer means not getting to attend very many weddings as a guest. I actually can’t remember the last time we did. Seeing that this was my (Steven) brother’s wedding, we did our best to do both. Half guest, half photographer. Andrew and I have a lot in common, but aside from looking a lot alike (you’re welcome) probably the biggest thing we have in common is that we both knocked it out of the park with our wives. Good work, bro. Andrew and Megan got married at an overlook in Shenandoah National Park on a Friday evening and then had their reception at the Poe Museum in Richmond the next day. This was one of the rainiest Mays in history, but to say they got a great day for their ceremony would be an understatement. On Saturday it decided to pour just long enough to soak everything and make setup a lot more stressful but before long the sun came out and the rest of the night was gorgeous. It was pretty much a perfect weekend.
