The DC cherry blossoms… they are amazing. So when Katie and Chris said they wanted to do their engagement session the week in April when they are in peak bloom my first thought was, “AWESOME”! My second thought was that there was going to be a TON of people around in all of our shots… so we decided to do a sunrise shoot to avoid the crowds. Little did we know that we definitely were not the only people who had that brilliant idea! The place was packed, even at 6:30am on a Monday… but with some careful placement and creative angles you’d think they were the only people there! It was an awesome morning with some awesome people… which made getting up at 4am completely worth it! Here’s a few of our favorites…
